Adriana Maldonado Jiménez holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from UNAM and a Master’s degree in International Trade and Finance from Lancaster University (United Kingdom), awarded through the Chevening Scholarship. She further complemented her profile with an MBA and a Master’s degree in Innovation for Business Development from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Her career combines a solid foundation in foreign trade and international financial services with a transition toward innovation, strategic planning, and regional development.

Within international banking, she developed and led high-impact initiatives, including the design, negotiation, implementation, and commercial positioning of global products such as the “Letter of Credit with Provision of Funds.” Her experience also includes professional work in London and various executive roles in international business. At ITESM Campus León, she served as a professor of international business, coordinator of diploma and continuing education programs, and as a member of the strategic projects team. She also championed high-impact skills development programs and initiatives focused on gender equity. In parallel, she has facilitated processes with public and private institutions regarding transparency, competitiveness, and the strengthening of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises).

She is a founding partner of Gnosis XXI, where she acts as a consultant and facilitator for projects in planning, entrepreneurship, innovation, and regional development. Since 2020, she has taken on leadership responsibilities in innovation and value creation, as well as in gender equity. Her work is grounded in values of transparency, inclusion, and resilience, supported by competencies in design thinking, negotiation, mentoring, and open government. She maintains active participation in networks such as Chevening Alumni México, IMEF, and AMEXME, and serves as a global mentor for entrepreneurship and innovation programs in Guanajuato.
